In June, 83 Rivington Street served as the host venue for Build It Live, a high-stakes 48-hour build challenge presented by Oneday and Replit. Over the course of a single weekend, ten selected founders took on a simple question: can you build a working business in 48 hours? Stepping into the space to move beyond presentation slides, participants focused entirely on building real, working software from scratch under intense deadline pressure, backed by the guidance of expert mentors like Helen Murphy.

Executing a fast-paced build event requires a space that can support heavy technical demands, and our enterprise-grade Wi-Fi delivered the seamless, high-density connection required for ten engineering teams simultaneously deploying code, running AI tools, and launching real-time environments without missing a beat.
Impact & Key Highlights
The weekend culminated in a packed venue hosted by Stephanie Melodia, where founders delivered live product demos to an audience and an expert judging panel featuring Mike Pryke, Joanna Montgomery, and Philip Mudhir. Competing for £16,000 in cash and $16,000 in Replit credits, the winning title went to NOVA by Louno Space.
The winning platform directly tackles the UK’s urgent youth unemployment and STEM skills crisis—highlighted by recent reports showing nearly 1 million young people aged 16–24 not in education, employment, or training. By tackling the gap where 10-year curriculum cycles fall behind fast-moving technology, NOVA delivers an AI companion that personalises kids' STEM learning to build real future-ready confidence for children, parents, and primary schools.
It was an inspiring weekend of rapid execution, organized brilliantly by Juan Linares, and we were thrilled to provide the venue and infrastructure to help these founders build solutions that matter.
