Fresh off filling Wembley Arena and announcing their monumental fourth studio album, Here Because of Hope, Ezra Collective stripped it back. For one night only, Britain’s premier jazz outfit took over the raw, exposed-brick railway arches of Shoreditch’s 83 Rivington Street for their most intimate London performance to date.
Brought to 83 Rivington Street by Amplify & Courvoisier, this exclusive showcase was designed around the theme of community, legacy, and the people who lift us up. Guests were invited to bring the mentors, friends, and father figures who helped shape their journeys to share in an evening of pure, unadulterated joy.
A sequel event bringing guests back into the world of Courvoisier and Ezra Collective for an intimate live performance. Rather than leading with the brand, the night was designed to celebrate the band and the moments they create, putting music, culture, and connection at the heart of the experience.
Part of Courvoisier's Father's Day campaign, the evening starred the band alongside their own father figure, Gary Crosby, founder of Tomorrow's Warriors, the jazz youth collective where Ezra Collective first came together. Guests were invited to bring their father figure as their plus one, a simple gesture that turned a live show into something more personal: a shared moment between two people who matter to each other. Each guest received a complimentary Courvoisier cocktail on arrival, ready to enjoy a night rooted in culture, built around music, and designed to bring people closer together in a shared moment.
There is a massive line between transactional borrowing (using a scene as a cool backdrop for a product launch) and cultural collaboration (actually investing in and amplifying a community).

A MasterClass in Cultural Collaboration
Put the Artist’s Vision First: Flip the corporate process. Don't force creators into a rigid brand box. Have the courage to get out of the way, let go of the mic, and let the artists guide the narrative while your product weaves naturally into the background.
Design a Sequential Journey: A great event considers the physical flow from the street to the stage. For Ezra Collective, we mapped out a distinct guest journey across our arches, moving from a red-carpet entrance, through a dedicated cocktail and heritage gallery space, and finally through cinematic red velvet curtains into an immersive main stage.
Consistency Over Campaigns: Culture moves fast. The brands that win are the ones that show up early, before a movement is "safe" or mainstream, and commit to ongoing, year-over-year relationships rather than transactional, one-off activations.
Remember,
CULTURE DOESN'T WAIT FOR YOU TO 'ALIGN WITH STAKEHOLDERS'.
