Steel Hearts and Open Hands: How Bikers Against Child Abuse Took Over 83 Rivington Street
The Event: Heartwork
Last week, 83 Rivington Street had one of those rare moments that stops you in your tracks. We were profoundly honored to host the final night of Heartwork: The Hero Collection—a live gala and auction organized by the Frantic Group on behalf of the B.A.C.A. Southlands Chapter.
April is Child Abuse Awareness month, but for B.A.C.A., awareness isn’t a date on a calendar—it’s a way of life. The evening was electric, showcasing incredible original artwork from some of the UK’s finest tattoo artists. We structured the bidding so that everyone in the room had a chance to take a piece of history home.
The Impact
The results were staggering. Together, we raised enough to provide 50 survivors of child abuse with a full course of counseling, with significant funds remaining to support the chapter’s ongoing operations.
This was more than an event. It was a room full of people saying: We see you, we stand with you, and we’ve got you.
Thank you, Bikers Against Child Abuse.
